The material

One of a kind, every slab.

Quartzite, granite and marble are cut from the earth, not made in a factory. No two slabs repeat, the colour runs through the full thickness, and a polished surface can be refinished decades later. Each stone behaves a little differently, so we tell you what to expect before you choose.

Best for
Kitchen islands and counters, fireplace surrounds, bathroom vanities and full-height feature walls. Quartzite and granite for hard-working kitchens; marble where the look matters more than a knife-proof surface.
Durability
Granite and quartzite are among the hardest materials you can put in a home. They resist scratches and hold a crisp edge for decades. Marble is softer and develops a patina with use.
Heat & stains
Quartzite and granite offer excellent durability and heat resistance, though trivets are recommended for hot cookware.
Maintenance
Warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner. A penetrating sealer every 12 months; we apply the first coat at installation. Keep vinegar, lemon and bleach away from marble.
Look
Movement, veining and depth that engineered products imitate but do not match. Honed, leathered or polished finishes change how the same stone reads. Book-matched pairs turn two slabs into one dramatic piece.
